V-MM
V-Banking also offers an integrated Money Market module, V-MM, which can be customised to reflect the characteristics of individual instruments, your particular market profile and the interests of your customers (by region and/or trading location).
Like V-FX, V-MM can be integrated with V-Portal to provide a complete end-to-end e-treasury solution. A simple, easy to use front end allows your customers to:
- Execute, rollover or re-negotiate Fixed, Call Deposits and Loans
- Buy discount securities based on your Bank’s portfolio
- Sell discount securities based on the Client portfolio
- Receive on-line confirmations and attach standard settlement instructions
- Manage cash flows
- Query and display all dealing activities
As with V-FX, V-MM supports automatic and manual pricing, price quality and spreads and margin management (which will vary markedly by product type and customer).
Portfolio Management Dealers view and manage a portfolio of Short Dated Securities on which bank customers can trade, with indicative rates, the dollar limit and denominations that can be traded, defined on a per customer basis.
V-MM’s Deal Blotter: This has two components a Monitoring console displays all trading activity and has the primary function of keeping dealers’ abreast of all activity by client. A dealer action console, in addition,
uses visual and audio alerts to highlight deals that require dealer intervention, typically in the price-making phase.
Administration For V-MM; The administration functions are designed to:
- assist with product/instrument establishment and maintenance
- establish and administer User accounts (internal and external)
- extract maximum Customer Relationship Management (CRM) benefits
- optimise environmental parameters and yield Product/Instrument maintenance
provides for ‘real-time’ establishment of new cash products (both fixed and call) and short dated securities together with associated details defining
specific trading “rules” for each product (i.e. currency, interest calculation rules).
Once the Product/Instrument has been established, fixed or floating rate feeds can be assigned. Velocity’s V-MM central Administration console can also access User Accounts and Profiles, permissions, passwords and expiry dates.
